[Punto Critica] Santana: Guitar Heaven

Después de la trilogía de los últimos grandes discos de estudio que lanzo ["Supernatural" (1999), "Shaman" (2002) y "All That I Am" (2005)], Carlos Santana vuelve y hace una fuerte apuesta en Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time, dándose varios lujos de cantantes.

Los covers que se interpretaron junto a otros grandes músicos [Chris Cornell; Rob Thomas; Scott Weiland entre otros.], fueron elegidos por el mismo Santana y su compañero Clive Davis.

El disco en si mismo es una bomba de rock, con clásicos que van desde Whole Lotta Love pasando por Sunshine Of Your Love y Smoke on the Water hasta nada mas ni nada menos que Back in Black. ¿El invitado de lujo? Ray Manzarek, el clásico y genio tecladista de The Doors interpretando junto a Santana y Chester Bennington (Linkin Park) Riders on the Storm.

Lo que mas me sorprendió del disco (y no es que no lo sepa de antes) es la capacidad de adaptación que posee cuando toca distintos géneros que salen de lo "normal" para el.
